THE public have been invited to choose a community project that they want to see funded.
The Aviva Community Fund took nominations for a number of causes in Fareham earlier this year and is now urging residents to vote for their winner which will receive up to £25,000.
Fareham MP Suella Fernandes has been encouraging her constituents to vote.
Suella said: ‘This is a great opportunity for people to help a project get some much needed funding and make a difference to the local community.’
The nominations are:
n The Rainbow Centre
n Portchester Community School
n Titchfield Community Association
n Acts of Kindness
n Park Gate Primary School Association
n Sarisbury Green Scout Group
n Locks Heath Lions
Voting is open until November 21 and winners will be announced in January.
