TERRIERS, boxers, bulldogs and beagles will benefit from a Pennies for the Paw fundraising fun day on Southsea seafront next Sunday.

The dog-lovers’ fundraiser will raise money for Serbia’s Forgotten Paws charity and Portsmouth City Council-run stray dog kennels.

Visitors’ canine companions will be able to take part in activities including a 4km charity dog walk, a show and games.

The fun day will also feature a raffle and stalls selling dog products.

Activities especially for children will include pony rides, a bouncy castle, face painting and hula-hooping.

The event takes place on Castle Field from 10am to 5pm.

Admission is free, but there is a £5 dog registration fee for the charity walk.
