An accident caused traffic hold-ups in Wickham today as people headed to the village for the annual horse fair.
The collision between two vehicles happened at 9.20am at the junction of the A32 and Bridge Street, near to the church.
Police attended and have cleared the scene.
South Central Ambulance Service was also in attendance although no injuries were reported.
The incident comes as thousands of travellers attend the annual Wickham Horse Fair in the Square, which sees many road closures in the village and a gypsy horse-run takes place on the Winchester Road.
Drivers are being reminded to allow more time for their journeys or consider alternative routes.
Temporary closures will be in place at The Square in Wickham and on parts of the A334 Winchester Road while parts of the A32 will be used for parking.
Signage will be placed along the route to provide information about the road closures. The council has warned that any vehicle parked in an unauthorised place will be towed away.
