DETERMINED cyclist Andrew Brook-Holmes is going to cycle 600 miles in just one week for Sport Relief.

The 47-year-old, of Castle Street, in Portchester, a business manager at Microsoft, will cycle from his home to Reading each day for five days.

He said: ‘You see what the charities can actually do for people both near and far, and I wanted to do something about it.

‘Lots of people do sponsored events, and I thought “why don’t I do something a little different?”

‘It’s not something you’d normally do.’

Andrew hopes to raise £5,000 through sponsorship and his firm should double it – taking him to his target of £10,000.

He added he hasn’t been on his bike since a similar challenge two years ago.
