POLICE are searching for witnesses after a motorbike crashed into a parked car in Fareham.

The rider, a 20-year-old man from Southampton, was left with a serious but not life-threatening injury to his leg after colliding with the car in Old Turnpike.

He was taken by ambulance to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.

It happened at around 5pm on Saturday but police have only just released details.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should call PC Phil Hunt from the Fratton Roads Policing Unit on 101.
