A NEW exhibition will be opening next year displaying young people’s art.

From January 17, a wide variety of art will be shown at the Gosport Gallery, on Walpole Road.

Young people who live or study in Gosport and the surrounding areas, aged 14 to 18, will have the chance to get their art displayed until February 21.

Once the exhibition is set up, visitors to the gallery will be invited to vote for their favourite piece.

Two awards will be handed out including the Visitors Choice and the Sponsors Choice. Both are sponsored by Newman Cozens Ltd.

Admission to the gallery is free and it is open Monday to Saturday 10am until 5pm.
