RESIDENTS are throwing open their doors for an art trail.

Artists in Hayling Island, Emsworth, Waterlooville, Havant, Leigh Park are putting on the free event.

Homes, studios and shared venues will be open to the public.

All types of work will be put on display, including sculptures, pottery, ceramics, crafts, glass and jewellery.

Painter Samm Mackinnon, winner of two BBC awards for her work, will be exhibiting with her group at Stansted House Garden Centre on May 16 and 17.

There will be 61 exhibitors in the May Day Arts Trail this year. See
