Awards will recognise beauty in countryside

COMMUNITY and voluntary groups from across Hampshire are encouraged to enter the Campaign to Protect Rural England Hampshire Countryside Awards.

The awards, now in its 10th year, celebrate the county’s diverse and living countryside.

Gemma Lacey, from The Southern Co-operative, the lead sponsor of the awards, said: ‘The CPRE Countryside Awards are a fantastic showcase of the individuals and organisations who strive to make Hampshire a beautiful place to live and work.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday, September 15 in Winchester.
