Biker struck by car in Titchfield hit and run incident

Met admits undercover police officer took part in Hampshire fur farm raid

Police are after witnesses to a hit and run in which a motorcyclist was left injured.

A 26-year-old man was riding his motorbike on to the roundabout near the Holiday Inn, Titchfield, when a vehicle pulled out in front of him as he passed the Cartwright Drive junction.

He was knocked off his bike but the driver failed to stop, driving off down Southampton Road in the direction of the Titchfield gyratory.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to severe bruising to his back, but was released the same day.

Police now want to speak to witnesses to the incident which took place between 1pm and 1.30pm on Wednesday, January 5.

The vehicle is described as a dark blue Ford Fiesta with a vehicle registration possibly beginning 'R4' and may have a 'K' in it. There was a roof rack and it was believed to have a sports body kit and a loud exhaust.
