Bin collections delayed by a day due to stormy weather
BIN collections have been delayed by a day because of Storm Katie.
Residents in Gosport have been told that collections were suspended on Monday, meaning that bins will be picked up one day later this week.
A Gosport Borough Council statement said: ‘Please note that due to the severe weather conditions the refuse collection service was suspended.
‘Gosport’s refuse collection will be one day late this week with Friday’s work collected on Saturday.’
‘Gosport Borough Council apologise for any inconvenience.’
