Widow devastated as late husband’s Second World War medals are reported stolen from Portsmouth home

Staff dressed as smurfs, whilst students were encouraged to come to school in blue clothes.

More than £100 was raised.

Headteacher Louise Linscott, said: ‘It gives our children to help others, and although it’s a way to let your hair down and have a bit of fun, there’s a strong moral lesson.

‘It creates a sense of belonging to Portsmouth. The whole event is laudable.’
