Swishers daycare in Ewart Road, Buckland have been raising awareness for Blue Day.

‘We talked about cancer and how all our pennies can help doctors to find new ways to help people get better,’ said daycare manager, Joy Tagg.

Children at Swishers spent the day making card hats covered with blue feathers and sequins. They also made blue decorations for the day care and lots of Blue Day paintings.

Swishers raised around £40 for Blue Day.

‘It is all about remembering the community and our neighbours.

‘If we all give a little we can make a huge difference,’ said Joy.
