YOUNGSTERS at Wimborne Infant School in Southsea have been wearing their blue clothes with pride to remember former pupil Tom Prince.

They held a blueberry muffin sale and parents were asked to donate funds for the cause.

Deputy Head Nicky Skinner was a teacher at the school when Tom was there. She said: “Tom was in my class, and I still have his class photos.

“Many of our teaching assistants were here when Tom was a student, so this is very poignant for them and they hold some fond memories.

We do whatever we can to raise money and remember him.”

All proceeds from Blue Day go to the Tom Prince Cancer Trust.
