Book a place for charity foam fest

A children's hospice has announced plans for a second foam fest event in Portsmouth.

The popular charity event run by Naomi House & Jacksplace will take place at Southsea Common on April 23.

Participants will have to dodge, dive, climb and laugh their way through a 3km course of inflatable obstacles, foam pits and cannons.

Runners will set off in four separate waves from 10am.

Numbers are limited to 1,500 places. Places are £20 in advance and runners are asked to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship. The first event last year raised more than £30,000.

Keith Wilson, senior communications officer at Naomi House & Jacksplace said: ‘This has to be one of the most popular events we have ever staged and we are delighted that our many supporters in Portsmouth will get another chance to take part in this very special event.

‘The reaction to the first foam fest was huge, and I would urge anybody hoping to take part in the next event to secure their place soon.’

Foam fest is open to everyone over the age of 12.
