THE first ever North Fareham fun day was such a triumph that its organisers are already looking to next year.

And the fete, on Sunday at Hammond Road in Fareham, raised £638.39 for Cancer Research UK.

Debbie Eggleton, of Woodhall Way, Fareham, helped organise the event. She said: ‘We had such a beautiful day, and there were so many people who came.

‘I’d like to thank everyone who helped, those who gave money, and particularly all the local businesses who donated to the raffle.

‘I’ve already had people ask about next year.

‘I’d love to do it again, but this time for the neo-natal unit in Southampton.’
