BREAKING: Portsmouth city centre road closed due to flood
A road has been closed off in Portsmouth city centre because of a flood in a university building.
White Swan Road has been shut to traffic while staff from the city council and University of Portsmouth - which has a building adjoining the road - try to fix the problem.
A university spokeswoman said the flood was in the St Michaels Building, but that no staff or students had to be evacuated as a result.
It is not yet known what caused the leak.
Hampshire Constabulary said it received a call just before 12pm but was not needed to attend.
More to follow.
