A BRIGHT blue bus will be touring Havant and Waterlooville next week to promote libraries.

The Pompey Learning Bus is being used by Hampshire County Council so that library staff can take a whistle-stop tour.

Libraries in the Havant area have been revamped after hundreds of thousands of pounds of investment and there are now a range of new courses, including on basic computing, digital photography, the banjo and family history.

There are also employment courses offering tips in CV writing and searching for jobs.

The first stop will be on Monday from 10am to 3pm at the B&Q car park, Purbrook Way, Leigh Park.

On Tuesday from 11am to 3pm the bus stops at Waterberry Industrial Estate in Waterlooville. On Wednesday morning it will visit Beachlands on Hayling Island.
