Bus terminals to light up for neonatal awareness

THE Hard Interchange and the Park and Ride terminal, in Portsmouth, will be lit up in purple this Friday in support of World Prematurity Day.

By lighting prominent buildings, charity Ickle Pickle aims to highlight the need for vital neonatal equipment.

The charity is currently trying to raise £250,000 so the neonatal unit at Queen Alexandra Hospital, in Cosham, can purchase new incubators. This essential equipment provides a warm, safe and sterile environment for small and sick babies.
