A COMPANY has appointed one of its staff members to the position of team leader – just two years after she joined.
Wild Recruitment in Portsmouth has given mother-of-two Claire Adaway the job.
She recruits temporary workers for the commercial sector and said the local economy is doing well and she expects to grow the team.
The branch, situated in the town centre, has 25 staff.
Claire said: ‘I worked as a recruitment co-ordinator before having my children and when they were old enough I decided to return to work and joined Wild Recruitment, which I knew previously as a great agency.
‘I recruit temporary workers to office-based roles, including customer service and sales positions.
‘There is real scope to grow the team and the fact I’m looking for clients and candidates reflects well on the local economy.’
Wild Recruitment has branches in London, Milton Keynes and Poole, and is part of the national Berry Recruitment Group (BRG).
It was co-founded in 2001 by Michelle Stewart who now sits on the board of BRG.
She said: ‘With our growing number of staff we required a new level of leadership and Claire was an obvious choice.’
