A NETWORKING event for food producers and businesses takes place later this month.
The event has been organised by the health protection team at Chichester District Council and is the first event of its kind organised by the team.
The aim is to support local food producers and help promote their products to other food retailers and caterers across the area.
Many of the producers will be hosting stands promoting their products and offering samples for people to try.
As well as offering a networking opportunity, the council officers will be on hand with information.
The free event will take place in the Committee Rooms at the council offices in East Pallant House, from 10am to 4pm on February 22.
Councillor Roger Barrow, in charge of environment, said: ‘I think this event is an excellent idea and brings a wealth of expertise and information together under one roof.’
Food businesses interested in a stand can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
