BUTCHERS are being invited to vie for the top spot in a sausage and pie competition.
Hampshire Fare – which promotes the county’s produce – is calling on butchers to take part in the Great Hampshire Sausage and Pie Competition.
Judging begins on February 14 at Eastleigh College but Hampshire Fare is keen for people to apply now.
Categories include Traditional Pork Sausage, Hampshire Sausage, Cold-eating Pie, Charcuterie, Young Sausage Maker and Speciality Sausage.
Tracy Nash said: ‘We urge all local butchers to get involved in this competition.’
