MP Praises care home at anniversary celebration

The MP joined staff and trustees at Russell Churcher Court to meet residents at the 44 bed care home and sheltered accommodation.

'˜There is obviously a great sense of community. I have had the opportunity to see the wide range of residential care, including the sheltered flats which allow the residents to retain their independence,' explained Ms Dinenage.

She particularly praised the promotion of social interaction within the complex design which includes a dedicated lounge and communal atrium.

'˜It is these kind of developments which combat loneliness and isolation. This is a great development,' said Ms Dinenage.
