Mum gets award for growing her kids' dance classÂ

BUSY mum Liz Chisnall has been recognised for her hard work with an award, after she successfully grew her children's dance class franchise.Â

Liz, from Emsworth, runs dance classes for children aged 16 months to five years old, under the the diddi dance franchise in south east Hampshire and Chichester.

Mum of four, Liz, took over three classes last year  and now she runs 13, in Whiteley, Bedhampton, Portchester, Copnor, Petersfield, Eastney, Waterlooville, Fishbourne, Havant, Chichester, Horndean, Fareham and Southsea.

She was presented with her award at the diddi dance annual conference, which was attended by more than 40 franchisees. 

Founder of the business, Anne-Marie Martin, said: '˜We love doing our annual awards recognising those franchises in our network that go above and beyond.

'˜We find the motivation and inspiration our fun awards  invoke is of great benefit to all franchisees and really helps them to drive their business over the next year.

Liz started running the diddi dance classes  '“ which sees weekly 45-minute fun-filled sessions cover a variety of dance styles, from hip hop to country through to salsa and rock and roll '“  after she attended them with her own children. The classes teach a variety of dance styles and are designed to help young children develop their confidence, rhythm, fitness and social skills.

She said: '˜The award shows that our classes are run in a fun, inclusive way. We've implemented loads of new classes and parties so that even more children can get involved. It's so important and lots of fun letting the children socialise, it really sets them up for the future.

'˜I'm so proud to win this award from our national conference.

'˜It's been a busy first year in business for me opening six new community dance classes for parents and carers to bring their little ones along to. diddi dance is a brilliant introduction to dance and music for preschool children and I'm so proud to be a part of such a fantastic franchise network.'
