Paralympic athlete opens this year's boat show Â

A PARALYMPIAN spoke about the importance of resilience as he opened this year's Southampton Boat Show.

Aaron Phipps, 35 from Totton, helped Hampshire Chamber of Commerce celebrate a half century of involvement in the Southampton Boat Show.

Aaron said: '˜We all have choices no matter what we do. Making a positive choice, rather than a negative one, can have such a powerful effect.'

Hampshire Chamber's executive chairman Ross McNally said: '˜Aaron's story really shows the importance of resilience and being motivated.'
