PEOPLE are being urged to nominate their favourite businesses for the Havant Small Business Awards.
Havant MP Alan Mak said he had received a record number of nominations for his awards, with more than 1,000 nominations. But he said there was still time to nominate businesses.
Last year, more than 200 people attended the awards ceremony at South Downs College.
Mr Mak: ‘The huge number of nominations that we have received proves how popular these awards are becoming.”
Mr Mak started the awards as a way of recognising the constituency’s best-loved firms, having worked in his own family’s small business growing-up.
All nominations must be for businesses within the Havant parliamentary constituency. The deadline is Friday, October 5.
