PROPERTY investment is the focus of a newly-formed group which is planning monthly meetings.
The Progressive Property Network (PPN) has been launched with an event at the Langstone Hotel on Hayling Island.
More than 50 people were at the event, and Portsmouth lord mayor Councillor Frank Jonas cut a ribbon to officially launch the network.
PPN Host Angie Lacoste said the network was set up to help anyone investing in property or thinking about getting on the property ladder.
Ms Lacoste, who is property consultant, developer and investor, said the meetings would be useful for anyone wanting to build up a ‘power group’ – a network of mortgage advisors, insurance experts and anyone who’s job it is to provide services in property.
She said the meetings would be open to the public.
Ms Lacoste said: ‘They will be open to anyone who wants to learn and build a power team for support.
‘Everyone is on a different level on their property journey, and there is help available for whatever stage you are at on that journey.’
Richard Kovacs, a property investor from Derbyshire, was also at the meeting.
Mr Kovacs said it had been an excellent chance to network. He said: ‘Having attended many events in the past few years I have to say that this one really broke the mould.
‘It was not just a source of brilliant “nuggets” of information, but also a chance to speak and to meet the right people to really add gusto to your property investing plans.
‘Also in the room were an array of business providers specialising in property – solicitors, mortgage brokers, insurance brokers, designers, planning consultants, developers, builders and other service providers who all have strategies to streamline and fast-track your progress.’
The next meeting will be on December 21, from 6.30pm at the Langstone Hotel.
