Amy Allan, marketing coordinator at Omnia Environmental Consulting, a Fareham firm which organises the nights, said: ‘Our night went extremely well with a great turn out.

‘Our event was at The Watermark – it was a great venue as we had a number of guests who have had a huge involvement with Portsmouth’s growth and development.’

The dinner also raised £119 for the Portsmouth Hospitals Charity, Omnia’s chosen charity for the year.

Amy added: ‘We couldn’t be more proud and thankful to our guests for making such generous donations. It doesn’t stop there, our next event will be in the autumn so hopefully we will see the sum increase for an amazing charity and cause.’

Omnia’s managing director, Lee McDonald, spoke to the guests about its involvement with developments in Portsmouth and his fundraising, which will see him climb Mount Elbrus in Russia.
