Have your say

A CHARITY that makes boating accessible for disabled people will be showcasing its latest vessel at the Southampton Boat Show.

The Wheelyboat Trust will be proudly displaying their latest Coulam Wheelyboat V20 2019 model, which has a host of new features including Suzuki’s ‘lightest in its class’ outboard.

The 2019 model also features a drive-from-wheelchair helm as well as a digital instrument display.

Andy Beadsley, trust director, said: ‘Our role is to encourage everyone and anyone to get out on the water regardless of age, or ability.

‘The V20 on show is the 192nd Wheelyboat the trust has built and is the 17th of this particular model. The V20 is the ideal craft for a multitude of activities.’

Boat show visitors will also be able to go for a test-ride.

The Southampton Boat Show runs from today until September 23.
