SOUTHSEA PUB STAFF GO TO NATIONAL BREWERY '˜THANK YOU' EVENT

STAFF from Southsea's Sir Loin of Beef took a rare opportunity to enjoy the view from the other side of the counter as guests at an award-winning brewery's annual summer gathering.

Each summer Peterborough-based Oakham Ales organises an event for its flagship outlets across the country. 

There were almost 300 guests at the event at Peterborough's Brewery Tap pub for the brewery's Oakademy of Excellence.

 Oakham's beers '“ including JHB, Citra and Bishop's Farewell '“ have won numerous awards, and can be found on sale in multiple retailers as well as licensed premises across the country.

Oakham formed the Oakademy in 2009 for its permanent stockists as it takes great pride in its products and the outlets that stock them.

Oakademy members have access to all Oakham products including pe rmanent, seasonal and cask aged beers.  There are currently 375 Oakademy members across the UK. 

 Adrian Posnett, managing director at Oakham Ales, said: '˜Customer service and the personal touch are central to how we run our business at Oakham, so it was great to welcome the Sir Loin of Beef to the Oakademy and the Oakham family.
