Management accountants in Portsmouth and across the country want the UK to remain in the EU, according to a survey from members of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
The majority of respondents to the poll said they want to stay in the EU even if David Cameron fails to renegotiate our relationship with Europe.
More than 80 per cent of people who took part in the survey said that staying in the EU would be good for British business.
A third of businesses involved reported a significant proportion of its business involved other EU states.
CIMA’s executive director, Tony Manwaring, said: ‘The majority of CIMA members want the UK to remain within the European Union at all costs.’
