CHILDHOOD friends made their lifelong dream come true by opening up their own hair salon.

And the pair that always take into account their customers’ requirements are celebrating after being awarded for their personal approach.

Headromance picked up the customer service accolade for all its done to make the salon a place that is a pleasure to visit and keep customers returning since opening in 2012.

Since the first day the hair salon based in Havant has been offering an extensive range of hair cutting, colouring, styling and beauty services with a pricing structure to suit all budgets.

Director Emily Warne said: ‘The secret behind our success is we are young and current but we are really passionate about our jobs and it rubs off on our team.

‘We started off with a team of three and now we have 15 staff members.

‘With the team we carry out education and photoshoots which helps with the training and then is bought back to our customers.’

Peter Gibbs and Emily decided to open the salon after growing up together and attending hairdressing college.

By the time they had finished college the pair wanted to fulfil their passion by opening their own business and building a regular client base.

‘We run a three-client call back which is when we contact three customers from one of our team and share their experience with everyone at our staff meeting,’ said Emily.

‘It keeps everyone on their toes but it means that we can improve our performance and give the customer what they want.

The salon has plans expand.
