BUSINESSES and residents are being urged to come together to revitalise a town centre.

A meeting has been arranged to discuss ways of improving Waterlooville town centre.

It has been organised by the Waterlooville Community Forum Events team, which is aiming to give the town a sense of pride.

Chairwoman Jackie Buckley said: ‘Recently, 20 local businesses and organisations attended a meeting at Cafe Moka to discuss ways to invigorate the town centre. A very comprehensive list of ideas was generated.

‘Some would be challenging and others would be very possible.

‘The next meeting is to see how we can take some of these ideas forward. We need as many businesses as possible to come along.’

The meeting takes place from 6pm at Butlers Pantry, London Road, on March 19.
