FIREFIGHTERS were called to help with a flooded building yesterday.

A crew from Southsea fire station attended Nancy Road in Fratton at around 1pm after taps had been left on in a third floor flat.

They had to break into the building and turn off the taps as well as turning off all the electrics.

They also attended a garage fire in Earlsdon Street in Southsea at 2.50pm yesterday.
