TWO men became stuck in a lift in sheltered housing.

One crew from Southsea fire station, was called to Rudmore Court, in Simpson Road, Stamshaw, at 11.30am on Saturday.

Firefighters prised open the doors, to let the men out.

They were uninjured.

Later on at 12.15pm, one crew from Southsea was called out to the same property because of a false fire alarm.

Crews checked the scene to ensure it was safe, before leaving.
