A FREE mini festival is being thrown for teenagers.

Havant and Waterlooville Football Club is holding an event on Wednesday.

It is part of the West Leigh Neighbourhood Festival of Fun and includes live music, dancing, and a cake competition for 14 to 18-year-olds.

There will also be lots of activities to try out, including scuba diving, choi kwang do martial arts, football coaching and henna tattooing.

The range of activities and entertainment is organised to provide the residents of West Leigh and Leigh Park the opportunity to get involved and have a go and has been organised by The Spring arts centre, in Havant along with the Safer Neighbourhood team.

Laura Doye, from The Spring, said: ‘Everyone should come along and see for themselves how much fun it’s going to be.

‘They can listen to the bands, watch the dancing or the football coaching.’
