CALENDARS telling Havant and Waterlooville residents about the dates of rubbish and recycling collections are due to be delivered to 47,000 households.

The calendars will be a pull-out page in the council’s magazine Serving You.

It includes information on changes to bin collections over the Christmas period, what you can and cannot recycle and information on garden waste collections.

Residents will find a map together with a calendar informing them of which week to put out their rubbish wheelie bin or their recycling wheelie bin throughout 2012.

Councillor David , in charge of environment at Havant Borough Council, said: ‘This is a new way in which residents of the borough will receive their Rubbish and Recycling Calendars.’
