Emerging visual artists can win £1,000 and have a solo exhibition at the Aspex Gallery at Gunwharf in Portsmouth if they submit work for a new exhibition.
Emergency is Aspex’s biennial open submission group exhibition, which seeks to highlight the work of emerging visual artists working in any media.
Submissions cost £15, can be made by artists anywhere in the UK or abroad and must be made by Monday.
There are no age restrictions, but undergraduate students must be in their final year of study.
The exhibition is not themed.
The biennial open submission exhibition EMERGENCY is an essential part of the organisation’s programme, providing emerging artists with an opportunity to bring their work to wider attention.
