AN AUTHOR who battled breast cancer is to talk at Portsmouth Bookfest about her experiences.

Chris Higgins will be at Cosham library on Thursday talking about how writing her way through breast cancer helped her to launch a new career as a full-time writer.

She wrote a novel called ‘32C, That’s Me’ about a teenage girl whose mother had breast cancer
