ALL lanes on the M27 westbound are now open following a collision between a car and a lorry earlier this morning.

The incident happened at 9.52am between junctions seven (Hedge End) and five (Eastleigh).

Lane one of the highway was closed as emergency services attended the scene.

A spokesman for Hampshire Police said a woman had to be cut free from a Hyundai Accent – the car involved – by fire fighters and was treated for minor injuries by ambulance crews.
