A CAR and a taxi crashed in Hilsea on Tuesday evening.

Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the scene of the collision between a Renault Trafic and a Peugeot Active in London Road at 8.15pm.

No one was injured in the crash which happened outside of the Shell petrol station and police left the scene at around 9.20pm.

A fire crew was sent from Cosham fire station to make the scene safe.
