NEIGHBOURS alerted the emergency services when a car burst into flames in Portsmouth.

It happened at 9.30pm on Thursday night in Aylesbury Road, Copnor.

Firefighters from Southsea station spent 15 minutes putting out the blaze in the Vauxhall Corsa.

Neighbours were alerted by noises outside their property. The fire destroyed the vehicle. It is believed to have been started deliberately.
