A car careered off the road and went through a garden wall.

The accident happened as the blue Citroen was being driven along Park Lane, Bedhampton, close to the junction with Purbrook Way, at 9.50am yesterday.

It is not known how the accident happened but the driver lost control and the car ended up in a front garden, knocking down a brick boundary wall.

Police attended but no-one was injured and no arrests were made. The car was recovered shortly afterwards.
