POLICE are investigating after a BMW crashed into a garden wall in the early

Firefighters from Gosport were called to Foster Road, in the town, just after 2am on Saturday.

A BMW sports car had left the road and collided with a low garden wall at the bottom of a driveway.

When firefighters arrived they found the occupants of the car, a man and woman in their 40s, out of the car suffering from cuts and bruises.

Police were already at the scene and speaking to the couple.

The vehicle damaged the wall, which was at the bottom of a driveway.

A car in the driveway was damaged and bricks from the wall had hit a motor home in the neighbouring driveway.

Watch manager Steve Bint, from Gosport firefighters, said: ‘The car was on its side and had gone through a wall.

‘There were two occupants, a male and a female, who were both out of the vehicle by the time we arrived.

‘The male had cuts to his head and arms and he was being spoken to by the police.’

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said the matter was being investigated but no arrests have been made.
