Car park to close as repair work begins

REPAIRS are to be made to a Gosport car park.

Part of the town’s Walpole Park car park will be closed for about five weeks while improvements are made.

Resurfacing and other work will take place at the north section of the car park from Monday, February 19.

This means that the South Street entrance will be closed, and drivers who normally use that entrance will need to enter via Haslar Road instead. Access to Lakeside Café and Bar, and the Gosport Model Yacht and Boat Club, will be via this entrance also.

Some pay-and-display machines will be out of use.
