A CAR show to raise money for a children’s hospice is back for a fifth year.

Naomi House near Winchester is a hospice which helps children and young people suffering from life-threatening illnesses, and their families, from the Portsmouth area.

The Concorde Club Classic and Sports Car Show takes place on Sunday, September 8, and will display an array of more than 120 vintage and classic sports cars.

There is also an exhibit of modern-day supercars, such as Lamborghinis and Aston Martins.

And there will also be other activities, such as face painting, stalls, a full-size Formula 1 simulator, food and drink vendors, a barbecue, and a jazz band.

Last year’s event helped raise £10,260 for the children’s hospice.

Sarah Hudson, a Naomi House fundraiser, said: ‘We’re looking forward to welcoming petrolheads of all ages – including some of our own young people from Jacksplace.

‘It will be a hugely enjoyable day, and all for a brilliant cause.’

The event takes place at the Concorde Club and Hotel, in Eastleigh.

There will be free parking available nearby.

The site will be open to guests from 10am until 4pm.

Entry costs £3 for adults and £1 for children.
