A CARE home rallied together and raised hundred of pounds for charity.

St Vincent House, in Clarence Parade, Southsea, managed to raise £500 to give to St John’s College for its sponsored bike ride to Reims, in France.

Family, friends and staff at the home came together and donated £500 which will go to Help For Heroes and Facona.

But their fundraising didn’t stop there.

The home also held a family day which managed to raise £270 from raffles, cake stands and games.

All the money will go back into the home and its residents.
