CARERS can sometimes feel like they are the last person to get support.

But a new clinic is starting in Havant offering advice and support.

The Carers Clinic, an initiative by charity The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, will be held at the United Reformed Church in North Street, Havant, on Tuesday and then every second Tuesday of the month.

The sessions run from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Carers will be able to see a support worker on an appointment basis who will be able to offer them support in relation to their caring role.

It could be helping to organise respite care or help with applying for benefits.

The scheme is being funded by The Older Persons Wellbeing Partnership in Havant.

Any carer wishing to make an appointment can call Dawn Campbell on 07824 905 373.
