BEAUTIFUL photographs taken around Portsmouth will feature in a calendar to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Southsea-based group Strong Island has put together the 2016 calendar which features shots of the Historic Dockyard, Spinnaker Tower, seafront and other landmarks.
Natalie Bettinson, from the Alzheimer’s Society, said she was delighted Stuart Barker and the others at Strong Island were donating £1 from every calendar to the charity.
She said: ‘It’s great that the team at Strong Island are giving their time to support Alzheimer’s Society, as well as all the photographers that contributed to the calendar.
‘Dementia can happen to anyone and there is currently no cure. But with the right support, people can live well with dementia.’
Mr Barker said: ‘I nominated Alzheimer’s Society as the charity because my grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
The calendar, priced £12, is available online from strongislandclothingco.com.
