CCTV image released after nightclub attack

En garde! New school sport is having the desired classroom effect

POLICE have released a CCTV image of a suspect wanted in connection with a nightclub attack.

A 30-year-old man was hit over the head with a bottle inside Scandals on Hampshire Terrace, Portsmouth.

The victim suffered a black eye and a cut to the forehead and was taken to hospital.

Police have now released CCTV of a man they want to speak to about the attack, which took place at about 1am on Friday, November 19.

The CCTV shows a white man, believed to be in his 20s, with dark hair and wearing a dark t-shirt with a distinctive motif on the front running across Guildhall Square before getting into a taxi at Portsmouth train station.

Police would like to hear from anyone who recognises him or who saw him that evening.
