THE Mountbatten Centre is set to stage the 10-year anniversary of its street dance competition.

Performers from all over the country will descend on the Portsmouth leisure centre on Sunday, July 26, to display their routines in front of a crowd.

Dancers will compete as teams, solos, pairs, trios and schools.

They will be judged by Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists Cartell.

Each performer will be given points for their routine, and the act with the most points at the end of the competition will win a trophy sponsored by Sway Dance.

Event organiser, from ABC Events Belinda McClory said: ‘We really look forward to the young dancers and novices performing on this special day.

‘It is very exciting for us to have reached 10 years and it is great for the performers that we could get Cartell to come and judge the contest for us.’

Tickets cost £12 in advance or £15 on the door. For information contact Belinda on 07748 951444 or go to leisurecentre.com.
